Dr. Herr graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from Brigham Young University in 1986. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry. The University of Colorado has been and continues to be among the top dental schools in the United States both didactically and clinically. Dr Herr understands the importance of continuing education in an ever changing profession. Each year he spends a considerable amount of time in learning new techniques and working on the art of dentistry. He has made a commitment to his patients to always provide them with the highest quality dental care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Arizona Dental Association, and Central Arizona Dental Association.

Dr. Herr is an Arizona native, born and raised in Phoenix. He is a graduate of Arcadia High School. Gilbert is where he now lives with his wife and four children.
